School Story:

Bus rides to football games with the Madison band

Also I was more popular my sophomore year than any other year because I was in physical science with Ms bratcher and it was required to graduate so most of the rest of the students were the most popular football players, cheerleaders, and dollies

I was a total geek sophomore in the back corner until I got a 100 on the first quiz

Then I was everybody's best bud. Got invited to the best parties in high country.

Then everybody graduated and my usefulness expired. And like Icarus I tumbled back to the earth my junior and senior years.

So Dale was my friend though I mostly hung out with him as a freshman and sophomore and in the later years he was in a different crowd of friends. I was sad to hear he died in a car wreck while we were still in school. Now it's been 30 years. Feels like yesterday sometimes. Godspeed.
